The policies, appendices, and other Association documents listed below are those which are relevant to the general public. Member who wish to access the CMMOTA Membership Policy and Procedure Handbook can do so by clicking on this link. The authority of these policies and other Association documents are subsidiary to the following:

1. Alberta Societies Act.

2. Alberta Employment Labor Standards.

3. Alberta Human Rights Commission.

4. The Health Professions Act of Alberta (upon regulation of Massage Therapy).

5. Any other applicable legislation enacted by either a Canadian Provincial Government, or the Government of Canada.

6. The Bylaws of the Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association.

The contents of these documents may be added to, amended, or rescinded, from time to time, by approved motion of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association. Please note that if there is any discrepancy between the content found on the CMMOTA website and the Official Copy of the Handbook retained in the Association records, that the Official Copy shall be viewed as the correct and authentic version.

These policies, procedures, appendixes, and additional Association documents belong to the Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association and may not be used, without expressed written consent, in whole or in part by any individual, group, or organization.
