Purpose:

  • To provide clarification on provision of Membership Certificates following renewal or obtaining membership with the Association.

Policy:

  1. Membership certificates will be issued digitally, upon completion of renewal or obtaining membership with the Association.
  2. The digital certificate is considered the official certificate confirming current membership with the Association.
  3. A physical Membership Certificate is available upon request and the payment of the Physical Membership Certificate Fee as prescribed in the CMMOTA Fee Schedule.
  4. Physical certificates are intended for display purposes and may include spaces for verification seals representing membership years after the transition to digital certificates.
  5. Multi-year physical certificates will not be issued after December 31, 2025.
  6. A Membership Certificate is valid only for the year(s) for which it was issued, provided that the membership has not been suspended or cancelled by the Association.
  7. The Physical Membership Certificate Fee shall be set by Motion of the Board of Directors.
  8. The Physical Membership Certificate Fee shall be published in the CMMOTA Fee Schedule.
