COURSE OPTION:

Hip and pelvic pain can be complicated. Is it the muscle? The fascia? The joint? The nervous system? Or a combination of several things?

In this practical, clinically focused webinar, we’ll explore some of the most common hip and pelvic presentations therapists encounter and, more importantly, how to decide what treatment approach may be appropriate for each one.

This isn’t just anatomy and theory. You’ll see practical demonstrations, video demonstrations and treatment strategies that you can take straight into your treatment room and adapt for client home care.

We’ll Explore:

  • SIJ dysfunction and why strength first, stretch second can change your approach
  • Sacral torsions and simple ways to assess and address them
  • Anterior and posterior ilial positions, including practical MET and home-care strategies
  • Upslip or drop hip? Exploring what may actually be happening
  • Lateral sling weakness and the role of the lateral gluteals
  • Neurolymphatic work for the psoas, gluteals and hamstrings
  • Trochanteric bursitis and strategies to help unload the area
  • Myofascial release, MET, LLR and neuromuscular techniques
  • Low-load muscle activation and why it can be a valuable alternative to simply stretching

You’ll walk away with:

More clinical understanding. More treatment options. More confidence in choosing what to do next.

We’ll connect anatomy, fascial relationships, muscle function and clinical presentation so you can start looking beyond the painful area and consider what may actually be contributing to the problem.

There will be plenty of opportunity to watch, participate, ask questions and apply the concepts, finishing with an open Q&A.

Come ready to learn, think differently and add some practical new tools to your therapist’s toolkit.
