Membership Certificate Seals Policy

Purpose:

• To provide clarification on the availability of Membership Certificate Seals and the transition from physical certificates to digital certificates.

Policy

1. Beginning January 1, 2026, the Association transitioned to issuing Membership Certificates in digital format.

2. Physical membership certificates issued prior to December 31, 2025 which contain spaces for annual verification seals may continue to be maintained by members for display purposes.

3. Members may request the purchase of Membership Certificate Seals for applicable years in which they held membership in good standing with the Association.

4. Membership Certificate Seals may only be issued for years in which the member held active membership in good standing.

5. Members are responsible for affixing the seal received to the year indicated on the seal.

6. Any requests for replacement seals will require payment of a “Seal Replacement Fee” as prescribed in the CMMOTA Fee Schedule.

7. Membership Certificate Seals are available only for years contained on certificates issued prior to the transition to digital certificates.

8. The Association reserves the right to discontinue the availability of certificate seals at a future date as determined by the Board of Directors.
