As of January 1, 2025, the Association has updated the CMMOTA Membership Requirement – Continuing Education Credits Policy to allow members to earn Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for attending the live CMMOTA Virtual Information Sessions hosted throughout the year.
Beginning January 1, 2025, members can earn 1 CEC per live session attended, provided the following conditions are met in accordance with the policy:
• The Info Session survey is completed with correct answers within 48 hours of the session ending; and
• Attendance for the majority of the session can be verified by the Association.
Once your survey is completed, that’s it! No need to submit anything else! The CMMOTA team will automatically add your earned credits to your profile after the 48-hour survey period. With a minimum of six sessions planned annually, members can earn 18 free CECs over the course of a three-year cycle, and possibly even more if additional sessions are added!
