Calling all small town, rural, and remote RMTS! In this one day webinar we gather RMTs who want to grow a thriving Registered Massage Therapy Practice while living small town, rural, and remote culture. We dive into the research of small town, rural, and remote culture, it’s unique worldview, lifestyle, associated injuries, and the benefits and challenges of this culture in order to plan and grow a sustainable RMT practice. Dealing with issues on everything from “small town gossip”, to enclosed religious/tribal populations, blurred professional boundaries, and other “territorial” RMTs, etc…. this course kicks up all the dust on every unique issue that small town RMTs deal with but don’t talk about or find supports for. With so many RMTs living in rural and remote populations scattered through out Canada, and in a time when healthcare is impossible for most people obtain in a rural and remote areas, we have a large opportunity as RMTs to offer our form unique healthcare to this underserved populations. Let’s support each other as grow and thrive in our rural and remote massage practices.
