ró nordic spa

Edmonton | Alberta

Position Type: Contractor

ró nordic spa.

We’re excited to bring Edmonton’s first indoor/outdoor Nordic-inspired spa to the city this summer 2026 and are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) to join our team.

Our massage practice is built to serve more than guests of the Nordic circuits. While clients can pair treatments with thermal circuits to enhance recovery and relaxation, we also offer standalone massage services for those seeking therapeutic care, pain relief, injury recovery, or ongoing wellness. We’re looking for RMTs with a diverse range of specialties—from deep tissue and sports massage to cupping, hot stone, prenatal, and other therapeutic modalities. Whatever your area of expertise, we’d love to have you bring it to the ró team.

The ideal fit for our team is a therapist who brings energy, enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine care to their work. We’re looking for practitioners who understand the importance of creating thoughtful guest experiences and consistently deliver high-quality treatments with presence and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

•Deliver professional massage therapy treatments tailored to individual guest needs.

•Review health history and discuss treatment goals prior to sessions.

•Maintain accurate and confidential treatment records.

•Educate guests on post-treatment care and wellness recommendations where appropriate.

•Help maintain a clean, calm, and welcoming treatment environment.

•Uphold all licensing requirements, safety standards, and professional regulations related to massage therapy.

•Contribute positively to the overall guest experience and team culture at ró.

What We Offer

•Professional treatment rooms, fully furnished with sinks and electric tables.

•Booking management and guest communication.

•Laundry, linens, general supplies.

•Full marketing support including professional photo shoots.

•Spa discounts and complimentary thermal sessions.

•Competitive compensation splits.

Requirements

•Active RMT or MOT certification (in good standing).

•Professional liability insurance.

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

•A hospitality-minded approach to guest care and service.

•Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.

•Prior experience in a clinical, spa, or wellness environment is considered an asset, though not required.

•A collaborative attitude and genuine enthusiasm for wellness and guest experience.

If you’re ready to bring the energy and experience and excited to be a part of a one-of-a-kind start up, we’d love to hear from you!
