All of the changes in these policies are policy amendments which were approved at the September 12, 2026 Board of Directors Meeting. All Policy changes contained within this edition of the member handbook will come into effect September 23, 2026.

The Board has adopted the following new policies:

  • Board of Directors Conflict of Interest Policy
    • This new policy establishes the principles and procedures for identifying, disclosing, managing, and documenting actual, potential, and perceived conflicts of interest involving Directors of the Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association (CMMOTA). The purpose of this policy is to protect the integrity of the Board’s decision-making processes, maintain public confidence, and ensure that Directors act in the best interests of the Association.
