Somatic Exercise Teacher Training – Module 4
Module 4 is an in-person only bridge course within the NMP Somatics™ training pathway for Registered Massage Therapists and bodywork professionals. It builds on the movement, observation, and teaching skills introduced in Modules 1–3 and introduces the foundational principles of assisted pandiculation through supervised partner practice.
Rooted in Hanna Somatic Education, this training explores breathing, walking, body image training, and introductory assisted loading within previously learned somatic exercise patterns. Emphasis is placed on participant-led change, minimal-input support, movement observation, consent, professional boundaries, and safe in-person application.
For RMTs, Module 4 offers a practical next step in learning how somatic exercise and introductory assisted learning can complement hands-on practice through client education, movement awareness, and neuromuscular re-patterning.
This training includes:
- Breathing exercises
- Walking exercises
- Mirror Work
- Student-led somatic exercise review
- Introduction to assisted pandiculation
- Supervised partner practice
