Membership Handbook Update – May 28, 2026 Edition

Below we have outlined changes and additions or deletions to our policy handbook since the April 30, 2026 Edition. All of the changes in these policies are policy amendments which were approved at the May 28, 2026 Board of Directors Meeting. All Policy changes contained within this edition of the member handbook will come into effect June 1, 2026.

The Board has made amendments to the following policies:

• Membership Requirement – Vulnerable Sector Check Policy
  • Added item 5.4 regarding a VSC that is returned with a possible match and that fingerprinting VSC will be required in such cases.

The Executive Director has made amendments to the following Appendices:

• Appendix 5 – Disciplinary Committee Application Form
  • Updated language throughout the document for accuracy between the application and policy.
• Appendix 6 – CMMOTA Complaint Form
  • Added Request for Information if a Policy Investigation has been undertaken.
  • Added a Declaration of Accuracy
• Appendix 11 – Volunteering to Serve the Industry Checklist
  • Added Description of Required Action.
• Appendix 15 – Massage Therapy Membership Reinstatement Application
  • Removed outdated language.
• Appendix 16 – MOT Membership Reinstatement Application
  • Removed outdated language.
• Appendix 24 – Event Volunteer Participation Checklist
  • Added Description of Required Action.
