This course will cover: \nFeeling overwhelmed or confused about billing extended health benefits? \nWhether you’re new to direct billing or just need clearer systems\, this course will walk you through it step by step. \nYou’ll learn how to confidently bill over 40 insurance companies and navigate key topics including: \n\nPre-determinations\nAdjudication\nCoordination of benefits\nConsent forms\nReconciliations\nAnd more\n\nThis course is designed for health and wellness practitioners and clinic administrators across Canada. Even if you don’t plan to direct bill and prefer to provide receipts\, understanding how insurers process claims will help you better support your clients and run a smoother practice. \nA bit more about Melissa: \nMelissa is a Registered Massage Therapist and the founder of the Online Wellness Institute. She graduated with honours in 2009 from CCMH Foothills College of Massage Therapy and was chosen to be the valedictorian of her graduating class. After graduation\, Melissa returned to CCMH as a case study panel member\, where she reviewed and marked case studies. Melissa published an award-winning case study in the International Journal of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork on the effects of massage therapy on TMJD.  \nMelissa has been managing Lakeview Mobile Massage since 2019 and is passionate about creating practical\, evidence-informed resources on direct billing after experiencing firsthand the lack of clear guidance when she was getting started. \nRefund Policy: \nFull refund 45 days prior to the event (less fees).\n50% refund 30 days prior to the event.\nNo refund 14 days prior to the event.
