Knox Ave Inc. is a wellness-minded health spa and collective located steps from Edmonton’s River Valley. We offer a thoughtful blend of therapeutic and relaxation services designed to help our guests slow down, reconnect, and feel Knox good.
We are growing and looking for a Manual Osteopath to join our collaborative team of massage therapists, acupuncturists, aestheticians, and wellness practitioners.
About the role
This position is ideal for a practitioner who values gentle, client-centred care and enjoys working in a calm, supportive environment. You will provide osteopathic manual therapy focused on restoring balance, improving mobility, and supporting overall wellness.
What you’ll do
• Provide osteopathic manual therapy including soft tissue and articular techniques, as well as cranial and visceral approaches, to support mobility, balance, and overall function
- Work within the scope of manual osteopathic practice, and maintain your professional association standards
• Create comprehensive patient assessments, thoughtful treatment plans and maintain accurate charting
• Educate clients on posture, movement, and self-care strategies, pain management strategies, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with Knox practitioners for integrated care when appropriate
• Contribute to a warm, welcoming client experience
Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated on the latest research in osteopathy
What we’re looking for
• Diploma in Manual Osteopathy from a recognized program
• membership in a recognized osteopathic Association and professional liability insurance
• Strong assessment and hands-on treatment skills
• Compassionate, grounded presence with excellent communication
• Passion for wellness and working within a health spa environment
• Massage therapy diploma considered a strong asset
Compensation
• Commission-based independent contractor position
