The renewal deadline for 2025 Membership is December 31, 2024. There are five things that you need to do this year in order to complete the renewal process:

1. Pay your membership fees to the Association. Fees for membership renewal will be sent to your email inbox by October 15, 2024.

2025 Membership Renewal Invoices will be delivered to all members via email before October 15, 2024. Members whose membership activation date is between October 15, 2024 and December 31, 2024 will not receive a membership renewal invoice, as your 2025 membership fees were required to be paid when joining the Association during this period. If you are unable to find the invoice after October 15, 2024 please contact the office via email to info@cmmota.com. Payment is due no later than December 31, 2024.

There are several ways that you can pay your 2025 Membership Renewal Fees. Here are your options:

  • Credit Card payment – you can call the office at (403) 356-1160 during regular business hours (M-F 9 AM to 4 PM Mountain Time), and we can take your payment by credit card. Please do not email the office with your credit card information.
  • Cheque or Money Order – you can send a cheque or money order through snail mail to the office at #300, 2965 Bremner Ave., Red Deer, AB T4R 1S2. Please note that if your cheque is post dated you will still receive membership renewal reminders by email until your cheque is able to be deposited. PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH THROUGH THE MAIL!
  • eTransfer – To renew you can send your eTransfer payment to payments@cmmota.com, please include your full name and member number when sending your payment, and please use “membership” as the password! Please don’t make us guess what your middle name is.
  • PayPal – you can send your payment directly to payments@cmmota.com or call the office for an invoice.
  • In person at the CMMOTA Head Office, #300, 2965 Bremner Ave., Red Deer, AB, during our regular business hours (M-F, 9 AM to 4 PM Mountain Time). Please note that the office will be closed on October 14, November 11, and December 24-27.

It is important to note that if you fail to pay your 2025 Membership Renewal fees by December 31, 2024, in addition to finding your membership suspended, that a $150 Administration Fee for Renewals Past the Deadline will be applied and must be paid in addition to the 2025 Membership Renewal fees.

2. Pay any additional fees owed. For example, if you currently owe money for the AGM Fee-in-lieu, these fees must be paid no later than December 31, 2024. Per CMMOTA Policy, if outstanding fees are not paid in full by December 31, 2024, your membership will be suspended effective January 1, 2025.

3. Complete and Return the CMMOTA MEMBERSHIP ANNUAL DECLARATION FORM. This form can be accessed by clicking on either of the following: printable Annual Declaration form (click here), or the online fillable Annual Declaration form (click here). It needs to be filled out and signed (digital signature is acceptable) and returned to the CMMOTA office by email to info@cmmota.com, or by fax to (403)517-7675, or by regular post to #219 3722 57th Avenue, Red Deer, AB T4N 4R7 not later than December 31, 2024.

4. Complete your Insurance Renewal Form through BrokerLink which is being included in the invoice email.

5. Complete CEC Credit Requirements As this year is the final year of the CEC cycle, all required credits need to be submitted prior to December 31, 2024. Not completing this step will result in your membership being suspended effective January 1, 2025. To find out what your current CEC credit standing is, please follow the instructions outlined in this CMMOTA Knead to Know article – https://cmmota.com/cec-cycle-ending-are-your-cecs-completed/

Please noteif you are currently planning on not renewing your membership for 2025, we would kindly ask that you let the office know, both for our sake and yours. The steps for voluntarily cancelling your membership can be found in CMMOTA’s Member Initiated Membership Cancellation Policy, and the online fillable form can be found by clicking here. If you are planning on moving to inactive status starting January 1st or before, please use this online fillable form, or contact the office to get that process started at info@cmmota.com.
