And we are excited to bring with us two fantastic instructors!  \nCOURSE OPTIONS: \nBiodynamic Myofascial Mobilization (BMM): The Cervical Region: 14 CEC’s Member Price: $649\, Non-Member Price: $749 Saturday & Sunday\, May 24 & 25\, 2025 Instructed by Heather Gittens with Bodhi Tree Teaching Centre Time – 9:00am – 5:00pm. \nThe Biodynamic Myofascial Mobilization courses take the manual therapist through a particular region\, going beyond the Myofascia to address all tissue types within the area of focus using up to date anatomical knowledge\, evidence-based fascial principles & approaches to maximize the patient’s long-term resolve. Tissue types considered in each region are osseous\, ligamentous\, tendinous\, muscular\, joint\, visceral and more\, and are approached using direct or indirect loading techniques\, with a discussion of visceral manipulation or Cranio-fascial therapies when appropriate. Discussion around integrating these techniques is always a part of each course & we encourage those attending to be open to new experiences & ideas! \n\nIn the CERVICAL Region\, through this lens\, we explore the fascial relationships & continuity between all regional structures plus common complaints & dysfunction and their relationship to the rest of the body.  Particular attention is paid to the Cervical Investing Fascia\, the relationship of the Upper Trapezius to the Sternocleidomastoid muscles\, the Atlanto-Axial joint space\, the upper ribs\, and the clavicles.  The visceral component is primarily discussed or demonstrated as it is too involved for a 2-day course to fully cover. \n\n\n\nAre you a member of the CCHPC\, College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC? Through the years she has grown as instructor and continues to learn through her own ongoing education by attending courses\, conferences and spending time in the anatomy lab but also through her students.
