CONTEMPORARY CUPPING METHODS (CCM) - 24 Hours – 3 Days
CCM takes Cupping Therapy into mainstream manual soft tissue therapy & provides you with an International Certification in Cupping Therapy!
The CCM course is Canada's most complete and comprehensive course in therapeutic cupping covering traditional stationary cupping, massage cupping, dynamic cupping, flash cupping, facial cupping, biomagnetic cupping and vascular fluid movement. Negative Pressure, rather than compression, is superior bodywork for relieving pain and stiffness in Muscle, Fascia, Deep Tissue, Ligaments, Tendons, Joints and improving Vascular Flow!
Learn indications and contraindications and the beneficial therapeutic interpretation of “cupping marks”. Become competent in the appropriate application of glass, plastic(handpump), soft silicon, aspirator bulb, and biomagnetic cups along with 22 treatments for the head, face, neck, shoulders, back, visceral organs, hip, thigh, leg and foot including: ~ Sports & Orthopedic protocols ~ Cellulite ~ Reflexology ~ Biomagnetics ~ Abdominals ~ Facial/dermal Rejuvenation ~ Detoxification.

ADVANCED CUPPING TECHNIQUES (ACT) – 16 Hours – 2 Days
After you become practiced and comfortable with your cupping expertise, enroll in an Advanced Cupping Techniques course. Now you are prepared to learn 24 new protocols for orthopedic and myofascial treatments for the foot, leg, thigh, hip, trunk, back, chest, face and scars tissue (both dermal and deep tissue). This workshop is 85% hands-on and builds on the fundamentals you learned in the CCM course. (Tuition includes a 40-page manual showing step-by-step treatments. You are required to bring your own cups - additional cups are available for purchase at the course).
FACIAL REJUVENATION (FR) – 8 Hours – 1 Day
The Facial Cupping protocol weaves together contrasting thermotherapy, facial and neck muscle decompression, TMJ and sinus release, vascular flow, and dermal scar rehabilitation using proprietary cups. (Tuition includes: 1 set each of the Belletazze & EarthSpa Bell cups; facial hot/cold stones and a comprehensive 48-page manual).

Advance Cupping Techniques is a full 2-day workshop priced at $US420 for early-bird registration 30 days prior to the start date (equivalent to $US210/day!). After the early bird date, regular tuition is $US465.
Facial Rejuvenation Massage is a 1-day workshop priced at $US350 for early-bird registration (30 days prior to the start date). After early bird date, regular tuition is $US395. (tuition includes 2 sets of cups and 1 set of hot/cold stones, and a 48-page manual).
ICTA Educator for Western Canada… Herb Longworth is a member of the Alberta Remedial Massage Therapists Association (RMTA) & vice-president of the Albert branch of the Canadian Sports Massage Therapists Association (CSMTA). He holds a Master’s Degree in Science from UofA, a massage therapy diploma & certifications in: advanced cupping therapy, national sports coaching (NCCP), Reiki Master/Teacher and Professional Fitness Trainer. Herb has worked on the medical teams at Canadian Olympic Track & Field Trials(2012), Canadian National Swim Finals(2012), World Cup Women’s Fastpitch Championships(2016) and Canada Cup(2017); where he introduced the benefits of therapeutic cupping to many world-class athletes. Herb has been a guest speaker at national conferences in Canada and the U.S. and currently teaches therapeutic courses in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba He was born and raised and continues to reside in Calgary, AB, Canada.
