Course Description

Founder and Instructor of Integrated Body TherapyTM
Advanced Practitioner of Visceral Manipulation
Certified CranioSacral Therapist

Cassie graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1984 in Zoology/Ecology and used to run vertebrate anatomy labs.  Besides the above qualifications, she is also an Advanced Practitioner of Visceral Manipulation, Mechanical Link and Lymph Drainage Therapy and has studied with over ten osteopaths.  She is also a Practitioner of Tellington Touch for animals.  Integrated Body TherapyTM is trademarked in Canada.  Cassie has been in practice for 32 years and teaching IBT for 23 years.

These workshops will use a variety of techniques which summon the body to do its own gentle self-correction.   By positioning the body to spontaneously release tension and using some acupressure points, releasing dominant restrictions of the body can occur.  The practitioner is acting as a facilitator so that the body may do its own self-healing.  These gentle, non-invasive techniques complement other approaches, are well accepted by the body and are easy on the practitioner’s body.

October 19 - 20, 2019: Integrated Body Therapy V/: An Osteopathic Approach to Feminine Balance:

Gentle and respectful techniques from Integrated Body Therapy effectively can balance the body. Female anatomy, if unbalanced, affects hormone function adversely. Techniques to release the cranial base, the sphenoid (and pituitary), the rib cage and overlying breasts, bladder, kidneys, uterus and ovaries, and the associated portion of the pelvis will be covered. Working with a pregnant mother and/or infant will be discussed. Various Chapman's Neurolymphatic points to relieve pain will be represented. (12 hours credit with RMTA and 10 with NHPC).
