We know that it is rare that people live in the same place for their entire lives, and so at some point this will apply to you! Whether you are moving your business practice, or your residence, or both, we want to remind members to include CMMOTA when you are providing new contact details.

Making sure that your snail mail address remains current is incredibly important, especially around renewal time. Not getting your new membership certificate, or your annual renewal package including your certificate sticker is just one result when updating the association on a move is forgotten. Every year we get returned mail because someone forgot to update their new address with us.

This becomes especially important if you are moving from one province or territory to another. Your association membership travels with you, so there will be no need to switch associations! All that you must do if you are moving from province to province is inform CMMOTA of your impending move, and we will help you to navigate any necessary changes you may need to make (like professional liability and commercial/business insurance, membership certificates, changes to your direct billing setup, etc.).
