On September 19, 2024, the Board of Directors established the 2025 Membership Renewal Fees. These fees include both the Annual Membership + the basic Professional Liability Insurance Renewal. For those members who live in Quebec please note that your renewal invoice will not include the insurance renewal premium as members in those provinces must pay their premiums directly to their insurance provider.
Here are the renewal fees for 2025:
2025 Membership Renewal Fees (includes cost of base professional liability insurance) | |
Membership Type | Cost (Membership fee + insurance fee) |
Student Massage Therapist with Optional Insurance | $112 ($0 + $112) |
Student Manual Osteopathic Therapist with Optional Insurance | $396 ($0 + $396) |
Associate Massage Therapist | $247 ($135 + $112) |
Full Massage Therapist or Registered Massage Therapist or Spa Therapist | $417 ($305 + $112) |
Full Manual Osteopathic Therapist | $856 ($460 + $396) |
Full Massage Therapist or Registered Massage Therapist or Spa Therapist & Full Manual Osteopathic Therapist | $1067 ($655 + $412) |
Associate Massage Therapist & Full Manual Osteopathic Therapist | $897 ($485 + $412) |
Inactive Massage Therapist or Inactive Manual Osteopathic Therapist | $125 ($125 + $0) |
As you can see, Membership Renewal Fees for all classes of active membership remain the same, despite continued rising costs related to inflationary pressures (3.06% annual rate) which have occurred over the last 12 months since 2024 fees were set in September of 2023. This speaks to the dedication that both the Board and Staff of the association have related to finding cost efficiencies in providing membership services to all our members, and in finding additional revenue streams through things like conference sponsorship and various advertising opportunities.
We are also happy to report that the cost of insurance has remained the same for Massage Therapist coverage and has decreased for Manual Osteopathic Therapists.
We remain committed to providing the best membership services in both industries for those who choose CMMOTA as their professional association. If you still have professional association membership with a second association for one of these professions, give the office a call to see how much you might be able to save by bringing both professions under the CMMOTA banner.
